Weekly diary

This is a memory aide for different types of skirts.

Here is a little toile I made to demonstrate how to make and measure a circular skirt. I cut out a semi circle out of fabric to show the front of a circular skirt.

Here are size 12 front and back patterns i have cut out to make a pencil skirt.
I used a size 12 template to cut it out by hand.
Here I have made the front of a pencil skirt which is a sample. Obviously, if i was to make a skirt for wear the fabric and the colour would be different.

How to make a flared skirt. This will show me where to add the seam allowance and where to add the darts if i make this flared skirt in the future

Here is a diagram to show me how to make a pencil skirt. The diagram is detailed enough so that even someone with no relevant experience could follow it because i have added all the measurments and seam allowences.

Here is a checklist from this lesson which i completed and i also drew how to make a waist band at the bottom.

Here I have shown how i can shorten and lengthen a skirt. This diagram shows how measurments can be used to alter the lenght of the skirt
